Just ticked over a couple hours ago. I had the prescience to stop on the shoulder and get a pic.
I have a new timing belt, tensioner, idler, water pump, new plugs and coil-on-plug units to install next week. She deserves it.
Here’s to another 300k!

The dash info only displays one metric at a time, it was set to display outside temperature when the photo was taken.
So far the car has been averaging 29-30mpg mixed highway/city.

ahh, I see now. the indicator beside the icon. they arent readouts, the readout is in the middle. got it

Yeah I had to look it up in the owners’ manual to figure out how the info display worked, I didn’t even realize there was a dial to select which info to display for it, as it’s nicely hidden behind the wiper
stalk.

Yeah the previous owners took very good care of this car. There is no rust anywhere on it, even the undercarriage is clean. It’s almost disturbingly clean for an 18 year old car that’s lived its whole life in the rust belt, and has been driven through every winter.

Hell yes! That’s awesome. Here’s to another 300k. Also, I love those cars. My friend had one in high school and we’d just drive and drive. Unfortunately, the fate of his ended much sooner when the passenger floor fell out due to rot.
